Luckily WLToys realised how badly they messed up version 1 and quickly released version2. It basically saved their reputation from hitting complete bottom.

And in quickly trying to fix the issues of version 1, they made a fantastic and very durable RC car that I can personally recommend. On a 2s battery it reaches 61 kph which is not great, however throw in a 3s battery and it completely transforms this cheap RTR car into a speed beast. In my tests it hit 91 kph! Yes you read that right.

91 kph in a car costing below $150! I personally suspect that WLToys did not start out in trying to make this car go so fast. But they did and those purchasing the version 2 are getting an amazing car for very little money. Check out my video showing the 91kph speed run below.
